Kim asked:
I’m new to digital photography, and especially new to dealing with lighting. I’m looking to buy a light kit and I have no clue what brands or set-ups I should be looking for. I do have to keep a budget in mind, but it’s a little flexible. I have the camera and the editing software taken care of, but I need some direction for the other stuff….
I’m actually shooting larger products….

???? asked: I love photography & taking many pictures and also editing them on computer software. I only have had digital point-and-shoot cameras, the quality of the pictures are really bad. I really want to upgrade and experience using a Digital SLR camera. I don’t really know much about them, and was wondering what a good beginner one would be? Im only 16 so my budget is kind of tight so I would be looking for something on the cheaper side. Could anyone recommend something & where to buy it.
Thanks

Alex asked: I can’t afford a midi keyboard on my student budget, but I love writing music in my spare time, and have just got Reason, and can’t cope any longer without a midi keyboard. Is there any software that can allow me to use a normal keyboard as a midi keyboard? It wouldn’t be that hard… Oh, and by the way, I’m on vista, not mac!
Thanks for your help.

Alicia asked:
I have done taxes for the past 2 years, however I have worked for H&R Block. I have prepared taxes seperately but just used the free online software. I am now opening my own mobile tax service and would like to know which professional software is the best and inexpensive? I have looked up Drake and others but everything is about $1000 i was hoping to spend about $200-$400 on the software. Can someone out there please help me find the best software for my budget.

Sebe asked: Hey guys I’m an amateur singer / songwriter - can anyone recommend any music software and / or microphones that I can buy for my laptop to record myself - My budget is probably about £200, it just depends on the quality I can get for a low price?
Thanks

Brad asked: Hi, I’m in highschool and currently directing a small movie project. I have a small budget of about $2000. My main question is what kind of camcorder and editing software will I need to make my movie have the look of an actual movie and not some cheap home made film?
I know that some small HD camcorders go for as little as $400, but I wonder if those truely yield as high quality as, say, a $2000 full size one.

Mr Little asked:
The security software I have says no viruses or spyware, but I am not sure if it’s bad hardware, bad software, lousy security, wrong settings, a worm, a horse, or one of the other virtual ailments. I can’t budget a new cpu at this time and the internet has become a cornerstone of every day life in my home so a solution must be found.

brandon w asked:
I need a program that is good for recording music. I am doing this VERY low budget, a lot of my friends and co-workers like the music I make and I just record with very very very bare-minimum things. Is there any software out there that allows me to record my voice then put it on top of a beat that I can download so that I’m not recording both at once giving me crap for sound quality?

chabotyou asked: I’m going to start a amateur webcast show for work and I’d like to know which out there are the best for people on a moderate budget, say 200-400 dollars.
I have zero experience with cameras and this show is basically me talking indoors behind a desk.
Also, which software would you guys reccomend using for first time video editors?
Thanks alot for all the help
