Without having a large budget,
free software,
using blender 3d, Photoshop, and Microsoft XNA Studio/ Visual Basic/ C#/
And how to make games commercial (i.e PS2, I know you can make Xbox 360, and Wii)
And Copyrights, if you Copyright the game’s story, do you have to individually Copyright each character?
So much to ask!!!

I just started my web-based business 2 months ago, and am patiently waiting for it to take off. I have been researching ways to increase traffic to my site and don’t have the budget for buying ranks on yahoo seaches or any of that software that is out there. Besides real-time advertisement ie Word of mouth, flyers etc. What else can I do?
I accidentally did that on some of my other postings then learned that it was a violation of YahooASK rules, so no, I will not list my website
Okay-details on the website: it involves admissions consulting, reviewing applications and editing essays, resumes etc. Most of my friends say that the site is great so I am not worried about the setup or presentation– I need advice on how to promote my website without buying all of the extra stuff that is offered on the internet.

I’ve been using MS Money for a while now, but find it absolutely horrible.
What I’m trying to do is super simple conceptually, and I’m looking for advice on how I can either A) accomplish it with Money or B) switch to something that can accomplish it.
I want the ability to categorize my categories. I have 100s of categories/sub-categories (Rent, Bills: Cable, Bills: Water/Sewage, Personal: Clothing, Personal: Sporting Goods, etc…). That is obviously just a few, but you get the idea.
I want to create Category Buckets into which I can place those categories, and I want only 3:
Wants
Needs
Savings
EVERY category can be classified as one of those 3. I want to keep all my transactions as they are today (they are already categorized and I do not want to change it).
I just want to display a pie char that shows me what percentage of my Net income goes to Wants, what % to Needs and what % to Savings.
I do not want to export the data and create a graph in Excel.
Does anyone know how I can do this with either Money or some other piece of software? I tried using the Budget in money, but it didn’t do what I wanted. I also tried Classifications but that didn’t work either. Also tried creating “favorite reports” but still no dice.
I’m going crazy — this has to be possible!
Any help would be appreciated.

How much money should a company budget for computer training. We’re a small office with six people, but whenever we have turnover, new people don’t understand how to enter data into our software system. I know others have this problem, too. Should we have a budget? How much should it be? Should it be a percent or based on the number of employees? Please help.

What is the best (inexpensive) Financial management software out there? Right now I use Microsoft Money 2005 standard. I’ve never tried anything else, but I don’t really like it. Granted, it IS faster than hand writing everything into my check register, and it does help me see where my money is going, but first of all, it automatically categorizes my transactions a lot, but it gets it wrong a lot of the time. But more importatntly, I’m disappointed with the budget part of it. Maybe it’s just because I have the standard edition, but it just doesn’t seem to helpful for creating a budget. I’m looking for something very user friendly, with plenty of advice, and understanding about how humans spend and waste money…if you get my drift. It’s just for my family’s personal finances.
Is there anything free out there?

How does one go about buying a software. How does one big company buy a small time software or how does one small company buy a big software?. Referred by someone – advertised – marketed – nice literature- fitting budget – some reasons to buy. Do we have statistics as to how may fall into the ‘HAPPY CUSTOMER’ category and how many softwares are in the “lived happily ever after” list. Has the buyer any time enjoyed the freedom of looking at 2-3 options and then making a selection. Does the buyer know that there is a similar, better product of the same kind, available?
