I currently have Microsoft Money 2000, and I seriously need an upgrade because it’s so old and out of date.
Can anyone recommend a good and easy to use program that I can buy/download?
What do you use and would you recommend it to others?
I just need to perform basic functions such as tracking balances/debt, making car/home/saving budgets, tracking spending habits, etc.
Nothing crazy like stocks or investments.
thanks.

what is the best free 3d modeling software for a mac? I’m an architecture student and my budget is really low so i would prefer to get a free version of any 3d software. I heard maya use to give out free student versions but they dont anymore. Does anyone know some other good ones and where i can find them?

What kind of laptop does a freshman need? What hardware or software do we look for? How much memory or hard drive is enough? Word, powerpoint, internet are essential. Not looking to impress anyone with every bell & whistle. What should we shop for, to get what we need without breaking the bank?
Complete noob here, so “Laptops for Dummies” version much appreciated.
Thanks!
Won’t be used for gaming. Internet research, facebook, and watching youtube mostly, I think.

I just got hired by a video production company to help take it to the next level. We need new editing and a new camera for HD. I mean true HD. I was going to just run over to the Apple store and ask, but wanted to ask some experts here first. Any advice? Need basic HD editing and HD camera. We don’t have a large budget, but we really need the updates.

I am trying to develop a software that will record voice from conference of 300 people cut it in small segments and store it in a digital archive (server). What hardware will be required to capture voice from 300 mics, process it and feed in top quality sound to computers that will run my software? Budget is no issue. I want top quality sound.
