The Passenger asked:

If we no longer had humans making decisions about budgets, the economy, and when to go to war, but developed software to make all those decisions. Would you feel comfortable with that? If not, why not?

Are there any religious reasons behind your answer?

I’m using Microsoft PowerPoint right now to make a slide show, but the transitions aren’t fading they just look low budget and crappy, and the settings are on fade and at the slowest speed. How can I make it more uniform so that the slide show flows better? Should I be using a different software system that works better?

Carl asked:

I am a Swedish American. My family is from Sweden but I was born in America. I want to learn Swedish more fluently so I can communicate with my family back in my country. Does anybody know of any software programs that will help me learn Swedish? Besides Rosetta Stone, it’s too expensive for my budget. I don’t want to spend over $100. And I would prefer it be for Apple, but Windows is good too. Thanks.

Stefan asked:

I have been singing since I was a little kid and now I want to try to record it and put it on Youtube. However, I am not sure about what kind of microphone I would need or recording software that would help out. Also- my budget is limited to about 200-300 dollars… If anyone who has done this could help me out, it would be appreciated.

I am getting married soon and am the ultimate budget cruncher. I currently keep track of my spending, My fiance is great, but I know I’m better about pulling the “purse strings” than he is (though he is not a floozy spender at all).

I have been using excel and making up my own tracker as I go, but it’s not really functional as far as budget keeping. What programs are user friendly especially when it comes to keeping track of different categories (mortgage, groceries, incoming bills, student loan payments, etc)?
