I’ve been using Microsoft Money since 2002, so I have over 7 years of financial data. However, now the Microsoft is leaving the personal finance mgmt business, what is the best alternative? An important requirement is that I save these 7 years of information. I would like web based, but I must be able to import my current information. I have stock information, retirement info, various bank accounts and credit cards.
What is the best personal finance management software today?

I am in charge of my family reunion DVD and can’t find software that will allow me to do that. The budget is almost nothing. I was working with the Windows Movie Maker but I can’t get it on to a DVD. Most of the older people in my family will not attempt to use a computer, but will watch a DVD…any suggestions?

Hi everyone! Need some advice here…
I am looking into different (free) online software options – my man and I are trying to organize and consolidate our finances. I have been researching and so far, have found the following options:
Mint, Quicken Online (they bought mint so it seems their basic version IS mint now), Geezeo, Wesabe, Rudder, Yodlee, Buxfer, Expensr, BudgetPulse, MoneyStrands
Does anyone in the Yahoo Answers community have any opinions on any of these, based on experience with them hopefully? Pros/con for specific sites, that sort of thing? Remember, we are trying to create one profile that would encompass each of our individual AND joint bank accounts/credit cards/loans (investments/retirement too, maybe?) and collect them all together in one place, so that either of us can log on anytime and work with all of this info easily. Also, hopefully, we’d like a program that allows us to pay bills directly…?
Thoughts? Thanks!

I work in a classroom with thirty one computers. One is my personal computer that i have all my printers installed on. One is for my assistants. I have a black laser, color laser, hp design jet plotter, and a Toshiba color copier. I need the design jet and the color copier to have a password on them for my assistants because other students have to be able to use this computer also.
I would like to do it with out any soft ware, but if i have to the technology budget is almost empty so free would be best. Also we use novel iprint on all of our printers this shouldn’t affect any software suggestions.
I can NOT create accounts using Windows we use Novell to login, it MIGHT work the same be I’m not sure. Do you know?

I recently had one for over a year until it was stolen from my car. I like them more than ipods, and I already have the software, a zune player, and zune wall charger so I would like another one, but with classes to pay for I am on a tight budget. Any suggestions on where to find a cheap one?
If possible, I prefer old generation 30 gigs.

i am a student, looking for a macbook with 1 or 2gb ram. I love to edit movies, but the software is $1,299 for Final Cut Pro Studio. So i am looking for a macbook with that and other software preinstalled on it. I have a limited budget becuase i am still a student. so looking for a resonable price.
I have looked at e-bay and craigslist…and they are not a help to me.
THANKS!
i have used imovie and dont liek it..it is nothing compared to Final Cut
