Sometimes you do something that you know will be unsustainable for the long term, just so you can move the needle in the right direction and find the sustainable effort somewhere in between. Brought to you by www.YouNeedABudget.com

I work for a small museum and we are in the process of looking for video editing software to create a variety of videos.
Obviously we do not have a large budget and cannot be purchasing something that is anymore than $100-$150. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, it should be very user friendly for anyone that is using it, since not everyone understands the concepts of video editing.
Thanks for your help!!

I need a POS software for a desktop computer. I have all the peripherals already. I need it to be able to have register functions (CC not necessary), basic inventory, bar code reader and creator, and sales tracking. my software budget cap is around $150. I do not want a monthly fee just out right software. The business is a small business with less that 5 employees. It has Misc retail merchandise. (Perfume oils and incense, and misc.) What is best for me?

I’m thinking of buying something good for video editing. I don’t really need anything too fancy, I’ll be making amvs from episodes I’ve downloaded. What I mainly need to do is put music to it where I can play it as I go for easier lip synch, take the sound from the videos out, and easily cut down clips — and it would help if it sets it into scenes when I import it like movie maker. I don’t want anything too expensive, I’m working on a budget. It needs to be able to support .avi and be reliable. I have a Windows XP but it didn’t come with movie maker — don’t ask me why, it just didn’t, and don’t tell me I’ve overlooked it, and the one I downloaded closed after 7 clips. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
