Andres Z asked:
I am using a Mac.
Basically, I want to use multiple cameras to record a church service, all connected to my Mac, and control it from here.
It’s going to be a very low budget film.
I’ve heard of Premiere Pro, and have used a little bit of it.
But any other ideas?
How to connect the cameras to each other, if possible how to connect the church sound system?

What equipment is needed to run a 3 camera video system to record and mix videos of bands at a club?
Brandon F asked:
What kind of cameras? What kind of video mixer or software? And should I use a dvd burner or a computer or something else? This system would use 3 video cameras to record bands at a club and then offer a dvd of their show right after their set is done. So it would have to be pretty quick process. The budget is modest also. I’m not looking to spend more than is needed.Thanx for input.

SWIFFER THE WONDER MUTT asked:
I am looking for a decent digital cam. with hard-drive / memory stick storage. It’s for work so it doen’t need to many frills. Good battery life, image stability, and more on the durable side. Budget $500-$1000
Also looking for a good DVD creation software. Want to be able to put video and stills onto a dvd that is presentable and easy to use. The ability to subtitle both video and stills would be a plus. I also want to be able to manually navigate stills not just let them roll in a time fram interval.
anyone can answer here or contact me directly.
If you have a sales pitch and can stand to hear the word ‘no’ please feel free to toss in your two cents, but I will not be buying anything without it going up my chain of command.

My friend is a photographer and wants to expand her services by providing a videographer as well. This is something I have always been interested in, so I would really like to begin this. My main question is, as a person just starting out, what kind of video camera should I get to do wedding videos and some live music videos and what type of software should I use to edit? I am on a fairly low budget.
