Does anyone know anything about these two products and if they could run music software smoothly. I don’t know much about computer hardware and need advice as to what I need.
Also I am on somewhat of a tight budget.
Intel Pentium D 935 3.2GHz, (Dual Core) 4096K
ASUS P5GC-MX

I have a budget computer and was planning on buying an extra gig of ram. This is my set up Dual core duo 2.2ghz oc’d to 2.4, 8600gts 256mb gdd3, 2 gigs of ram. If i upgrade to 3 gigs will i see a slight increase in performance for games these days? I’m planning on buying a new video card end of this year, was wondering if this could help my system out until then. I am running windows xp 32bit. And I usually play my games in 1024×768 or 1280×1024 resolutions.

hi i have this rig
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
CPU: N/A*
Mobo: P5KPL-AM
RAM: 4GB/800
HDD 1TB
GPU: HD4670
PSU: 500wats
i need gaming CPU with it can anyone recommended for me by choosing E7500 2.93ghz or the Q8400 2.66ghz?
i just heard rumors “E7500″ is bit faster even though its 2cores for the price of $110 and good performance on gaming, while 4cores “Q8400″ is faster for many applications, software, media, and encoding but bit slower on gaming for the price of $160 , many people say the more multi cores the faster performance is like
3ghz x 2 core = 6ghz
3ghz x 4 core = 12ghz
but i don’t know about that though…
here are the Comparisons from Intel

What’s the difference between those $150 computer case and the $25 one? Does the expensive one comes with power supply? What’s the major difference beside the appearance? I’m going to build a budget PC anytime soon, so want to know if the cheap one will good enough for me. I don’t play games, or running any high-end software, just mostly word processing, basic programming, web surfing, and watch streaming video.
So will it be noisier if I have a cheaper case?

I’m buying my first laptop in a few days and I need to know which one is the best to get, considering all the software I want to download.
In that list it includes:
Photoshop CS3
Paint tool sai
Cyberlink Powerdirector
Corel Painter
And a few more programs along with the essentials(microsoft office, etc.)
So, what kind of laptop should I get?
Budget is $1000 although cheaper is better for my wallet. Thanks.
