Rob asked:

Is it to buy an external hard drive or software for cloning? (Or are both necessary?) What’s the best for people on a budget?
I would like everything copied. So I need at least 35 GB.

I’m building a computer and to stay on budget I have to order a cheap disk drive. According to what I’ve read, the disk drive does not come with the software for drivers. If so, how will I be able to install the OS on my new computer? Is there a way around this?

If there is no way around this, can you recommend a good DVD-RW/CD-RW disk drive that is not over $30?

Thanks.

I want to recover data from my USB.
The softwares available in market show the files on the disc that can be recovered.
But once you try and save these files software asks for a key.

These keys to be purchased are costly and out of my budget.
Is there any other way to recover the deleted data?

I can’t afford a midi keyboard on my student budget, but I love writing music in my spare time, and have just got Reason, and can’t cope any longer without a midi keyboard. Is there any software that can allow me to use a normal keyboard as a midi keyboard? It wouldn’t be that hard… Oh, and by the way, I’m on vista, not mac!

Thanks for your help.
