Hi,
I am on a student’s budget and hoping to buy an artist’s tablet to make digital artwork a little easier. I am not a professional, but not a novice at using programs like Photoshop either. Hoping for something $200 or less.
Bamboo fun medium looks good for value (since it comes with other software) but I heard the product isn’t very good quality and malfunctions.
Intuos4 is supposed to be one of the best, but the price is through the roof for me for all models except the small one. Since the active area is so small, I wonder if it will be harder to use?
Which should I choose? Please help if you have experience with these tablets or have a better alternative.

I am looking at purchasing a computer with a monitor and a graphic tablet. I was wondering whether you could help me with the computer specifications (memory, video card, RAM, etc.) suitable for a PC used mainly for graphics.
I would also like some advice and recommendations on graphic tablets and monitors. Oh and does anybody have anything to say on software (photoshop?)
I’m looking for the best quality within a reasonable budget. Money isn’t too much of an issue, as long as it’s not wasted on purchases I don’t need.

I have been asked to help set up an after school program for middle and high school kids who want to learn video editing. This is a non-profit organization so the budget will of course be tight, but it definitely needs to be set up for multiple users. What would some of you seasoned editors recommend we start out with, software, hardware, and equipment-wise?
