The game will play like the classic Sierra and Lucasarts adventures, but I want more up-to-date graphics… and I’m on a budget. Anyone know of decent software that could help?

Corel Draw is a massive graphics program offering just about everything. Approx. $299 to purchase. There is a 30 day trial download. You’d be hard-pressed to learn how to work it in 30 days.

There were some free 3D programs on download.com, but they are limited. You will also find that you textures that you wrap upon the wireframe model are vital, hense the role of programs like Painter, Painter3D and Photoshop. Painter is owned now by Corel Draw.

Then, what is the final graphic? is it a video or rendered still shots? a video animation, that interacts with the user and gives walk-throughs is some serious development.

But GO FOR IT. if you have something the women will like, it could be a money machine. The girls haven’t found their niche in gaming just yet.
