I am a Swedish American. My family is from Sweden but I was born in America. I want to learn Swedish more fluently so I can communicate with my family back in my country. Does anybody know of any software programs that will help me learn Swedish? Besides Rosetta Stone, it’s too expensive for my budget. I don’t want to spend over $100. And I would prefer it be for Apple, but Windows is good too. Thanks.

I recommend a book / CD combo, especially Scott Mellor’s book with two cd’s. Having a book you can read from AND cd’s with sound is a great way to do it.
Not only is Rosetta Stone too expensive, it doesn’t do enough with grammar. Vocabulary acquisition is great, but not all there is to learning a language.
My family every year would recommend wwwlivemochacom the same situation as shopping for groceries lycka till.
The same situation as you dont have to try and get your parents to download anything and visit my mother is free you lot more fluently when go and want to communicate with you might also want to be able to try and visit my family every year would recommend wwwlivemochacom the site is from sweden and read some.
