Acer Aspire 5520!! I have one and I LOVE it!!
I can play Counter-Strike Source, half-life 2, portal ect all really well!
It is dang powerful!

Go with the toshiba, apples are rubbish. If you want lots of storage consider getting external storage device, that way you can take the data everywhere and easily use on other computers to create copies etc. toshiba satellite l300 is a great comp, try that

There is no best laptop. RAM is a necessity if you plan on editing video and audio so go for 4 GB. Make sure it is b/g/n wireless compatible
