i am a student, looking for a macbook with 1 or 2gb ram. I love to edit movies, but the software is $1,299 for Final Cut Pro Studio. So i am looking for a macbook with that and other software preinstalled on it. I have a limited budget becuase i am still a student. so looking for a resonable price.

I have looked at e-bay and craigslist…and they are not a help to me.

i have used imovie and dont liek it..it is nothing compared to Final Cut

I don’t have a mac but my brother is a HUGE Mac fanatic. He bought his at He did a lot of research and found the best prices there for NEW Macs. There aren’t a lot of sites or external vendors that give BIG discounts on Macs. Macs in general are pretty expensive so don’t expect to find a new one for cheap. My bro feels your pain with the Final Cut Pro Studio price tag, but don’t worry. I’ve heard iMovie isn’t too shabby and comes preinstalled with new Macs.
