    You really don’t need special software. All you really need is a pencil and paper (or a spreadsheet application). Write down you pay, then write down you essentials like food, utilities, housing, then write down all the other bills.

    I use Quicken in my computer. I keep track of all my accounts and expenses there, and you know how much money you have in your account(s). There are alot of other advantages to using Quicken, I would do some research to see which software gives you the best bang for your buck.
